Award sponsor LSSP are on a mission to transform school sport


Long-standing Educate Awards sponsor LSSP has expanded its coaching team after its most successful year to date.

LSSP is a not-for-profit Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) that is dedicated to providing all children and young people with the best possible PE, school sport and physical activity experiences.

Since establishing in 2000, LSSP has worked with over 120,000 young people and currently engages 121 schools, now including 25 specialist sport coaches placed in and supporting 50 primary schools across the Liverpool City Region.

Using a unique PE framework which includes a focus on life skill development, the team of passionate, experienced and qualified practitioners work hard to inspire all young people to be the best they can be, whilst enjoying the benefits of being physically active and leading a healthy lifestyle.

LSSP now has exciting growth plans for the year ahead, with a specialist team in place to help even more schools enhance their PE and sport provision.

The organisation is returning to sponsor the Outstanding Commitment to Sport in Primary School Award.

This category is looking for schools that can demonstrate an outstanding commitment to developing sporting skills and opportunities for pupils to be active on a regular basis through the provisions of teaching, coaching, extracurricular activities and partnerships

Entries are now open for all 21 award categories, with the deadline on Sunday 23 June 2019.
