Educate Awards sponsor, David M Robinson recently held its first DMR Golf Day in September at the picturesque Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire.
As David M Robinson continues with celebrations to mark its 50th anniversary, a selection of clients were invited to join the brand’s teams led by John Robinson, managing director and Karl Irwin, general manager.
50 players competed in the tournament, along with several famous faces including comedian John Bishop and actor Gwilym Lee who starred in Bohemian Rhapsody.
John Robinson, managing director said: “Golf is a sport that runs through the heart of our business as it does with a number of the luxury brands with whom we enjoy a relationship. When planning a way to celebrate such a special anniversary with friends, the iconic Sunningdale Golf Club- steeped in sporting history- seemed the perfect place to start.”
Following completion of the course and as the sun began to set, guests joined DMR for a summer barbecue and prize presentation.
Ahead of the start of the BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth, DMR and guests were joined by tournament competitors, including Lucas Bjerregaard and Paul Waring.
DMR Events Manager, Hannah Pownall commented: “Both hospitality and golf are at the very core of our business. To entertain a selection of clients in such stunning surroundings is our way of saying thank you for their constant support.”
As the BMW PGA Championships began at Wentworth, DMR was pleased to join its friends at ROLEX on day one, entertaining a number of clients from across its four showrooms.
