In November 2023, the esteemed Educate Awards returned to the iconic Liverpool Cathedral for its twelfth year.
The prestigious awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of schools, colleges and academies across the North West, with dedicated categories to recognise teachers and support staff who go the extra mile to support learners.
The 2023 event was a resounding success, with schools, colleges, sponsors and even the judges commenting on how incredible the event was.
Managed by CPMM Media Group’s PR and marketing team, the Educate Awards 2023 created a lasting impact for all those involved.
Ellie Adshead, PR and marketing account manager at CPMM Media, said: “2023 was such an incredible year, from five-star performances from schools and local musicians to magical acceptance speeches.
“Our primary goal has always been to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of schools, colleges and academies across the North West, but the awards are about so much more than the event.
“The event is an accumulation of a year’s worth of work, with our dedicated team working extremely hard to maximise the positive impact for schools, colleges, and our fantastic sponsors.
“In 2023, the Educate Awards received the highest volume of entries in our history. We secured positive press coverage in both local and regional press outlets, including fantastic radio opportunities. With the sentiment 100% positive and an estimated reach of over 2 million people, we are extremely proud of the impact the Educate Awards has.”
Winner of the Outstanding Arts in a Secondary School category, The Hollins, which also delivered a moving performance of dance and spoken poetry at the event, praised the Educate Awards for delivering a memorable event: “What a truly special night, students and staff are still talking about it.
“Thank you for the support provided by the team, they were all brilliant and by far the best Educate Awards to date. They always make us feel so welcome and part of the family.”
Entries for the Educate Awards reopen on Thursday, 1 February. Entries are free and open to schools, academies and multi academy trusts of all shapes and sizes.
