Revealed: Educate Awards 2023 shortlist

The highly anticipated shortlist for this year’s Educate Awards was revealed on Thursday 28 September.

The announcement was broadcast from the Educate Awards’ YouTube channel, by longstanding host Simon ‘Rossie’ Ross.

Over 75 entries from nearly 60 schools and college from across the north west have made the prestigious shortlist. They will find out their fates on Friday 17 November at the glittering Educate Awards ceremony, held at the Liverpool Cathedral.

The event, which is in partnership with ASL Group and Ricoh, is the largest education awards of its kind. The finest schools, colleges, leadership teams, teachers and support staff across Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester come together to celebrate their achievements in a truly unique fashion.

Founder of the Educate Awards, Kim O’Brien, said: “Congratulations to the schools and colleges that have made the shortlist! The feedback from judges has been brilliant, with many commenting on the high standard of entries and how it is getting harder and harder for them to decide each year.

“A big thank you to everyone who took the time to put together and submit an entry.”

Kim added: “Plans are already underway for another showstopping evening, with incredible performances, a delicious gala dinner and of course, the ceremony itself. We look forward to celebrating with you all in November.”

Associate sponsors for 2023 include All About STEM, CER Education, CPMM Media Group, SENDSCOPE, Liverpool John Moores University, LSSP, LCR Careers Hub, SupplyWell and Angel Solutions.
