A new associate sponsor has come on board for this year’s Educate Awards.
LCR Careers Hub, which is delivered by Growth Platform – the Liverpool City Region Growth Company, will sponsor the Leadership Team of the Year award.
The Hub is part of the Government’s careers strategy implemented nationally to support schools and colleges in delivering a world-class careers education, responsive to individual pupil needs and underpinned by the internationally recognised Gatsby Career Benchmarks, facilitated by The Careers & Enterprise Company.
LCR Careers Hub is currently engaged with 134 schools and colleges with over 100 Enterprise Advisers, representing a range of sectors. The team has support from dedicated partners including All About STEM, Career Connect, Elevate EBP, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Shaping Futures, St Helens Chamber and Wirral Chamber, each delivering an Enterprise Coordinator role.
Enterprise Coordinators are trained to work with school and college leadership teams to build careers and employer engagement plans. In addition, each school and college is supported by an Enterprise Adviser – a senior volunteer from business – who helps to develop a strategic careers plan and unlock relationships with other local businesses.

2021 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Educate Awards and the event is set to be a special one. With 21 categories, the ceremony is the biggest celebration in education.

The team at the hub work tirelessly to ensure there is plenty of information and guidance for leadership teams, staff and students, ensuring everyone is fully equipped when it comes to careers information, advice and educational guidance (CIAEG).”
